How to sign up for news feeds at Info-Tech
Really Simple Syndication is an XML feed that is updated whenever a website is updated. A feed reader fetches the RSS feed on a timed interval, and updates itself with new information whenever a site is updated. See the RSS 101 Note from ITA for more information.
You will need a feed reader such as the Google Feed Reader, the Microsoft Outlook 2007 feed reader, or one of the many news aggregators on the market.
RSS in your browser: Both Internet Explorer 7+ and Firefox 2+ have a feature called "Live Bookmarks". In both browsers you can subscribe to an RSS feed by clicking on the RSS Icon in the address bar.
